First make Vista backup. For instructions you can follow instructions provided in following weblink.

Update Your Notebook Bios. This is very important for this model. If You will not do this Your audio may not work in XP.

If your note book is having Vista installed then you make a partition called WINXP2 of minimum 20 GB memory.
you have to first download Nlite Programme from WEB.
then download the ICH9M/EM.... driver check for the
Filename: iaAHCI.INF
; ** Revision: Version 8.5.0.1032
; ** Date: 07/20/2008
this contains the following drivers
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2922&CC_0106.DeviceDesc = "Intel(R) ICH9R/DO/DH SATA AHCI Controller"
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2929&CC_0106.DeviceDesc = "Intel(R) ICH9M-E/M SATA AHCI Controller"
the latter one is the important to see your partition while set up is on.
so in brief after you download file called f6flpy32 which is a zip file.
you insert your XPSP2 CD inthe drive and copy the contents in a folder naming XP2 at your desktop or your c drive. unzip f6 flpy32 and copy contents in folder on desktop as you like where ever.
you install Nlite and open it.
after selecting the language you browse for this XP2 foler and select next your copied XP2 details will appear then select next and you will find the integration part asking for many options you select INTEGRATE and in the last CREATE ISO.
then you will be asked for integrate driver to insert, in this you browse to the folder on desktop for f6flpy32 and in this select iaHCI.inf. and select the DRIVERS i mentioned above
and go for next. and go for ISO
Make an iso first better and then BURN that ISO on a CD.
That's it then boot with this CD after some time you will see your partition and install XP on it.
Look for NTLDR file in Internet and download it and copy it to your XP partition simply in the drive.(as some times I have the error for missing ntldr file)

for dual boot after installing XP you install MS.NET software then Install easyBCD for boot managing.
after some practice you will know all the process.
hope you will get success.
